A fierce encounter took place between security forces and terrorists late on Monday night in Pakistan's north-western province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in which at least 9 terrorists and 8 security personnel were killed. According to sources, two important commanders of Lashkar-e-Islam were also killed during this operation. 7 security personnel and 6 terrorists have been injured in the encounter. A few days ago, a suicide bomb blast was carried out at a station in Balochistan, Pakistan, in which the main target was security personnel. 17 security personnel and many civilians were killed in the attack. Most of the people killed were training officers of the Pakistan Army, who were returning home after completing their training. The Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attack. It was carried out through a human bomb.
