Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released the second list of its candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections. Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia's name is also in this list. Manish Sisodia's seat has been changed this time. He has been given ticket from Patparganj seat of Delhi and has been made a candidate from Jangpura assembly constituency. Aam Aadmi Party has fielded Awadh Ojha from Patparganj. The first reaction of former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia on the change of assembly seat has come to light.
I consider myself a teacher, not a politician – Sisodia
Seeing his name in the second list of the party, Manish Sisodia has expressed his gratitude to Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party on social media platform X. Sisodia said, 'Arvind Kejriwal and the party have expressed confidence in me and given me the responsibility of contesting elections from Jangpura. I consider myself a teacher, not a politician.
There is no better seat for a teacher than Patparganj.
Along with this he said, 'Patparganj was not just an assembly constituency for me, but the heart of the education revolution in Delhi. When Awadh Ojha ji joined the party and the demand arose for him to contest elections, all I could think was that there cannot be a better seat than Patparganj for a teacher (Ojha sir).
Happy to hand over the responsibility of Patparganj to the teacher – Sisodia
Sisodia said, 'I am happy to hand over the responsibility of Patparganj to another teacher. Now I am ready to work with everyone in Jangpura to do the same work that I have done for education, service and development in Patparganj.
From Patparganj to Jangpura, my resolve remains firm.
