Prayagraj: Preparations are going on in full swing for the Mahakumbh to be held in Prayagraj, UP. On the occasion of Mahakumbh, the world's largest rangoli is being prepared in Prayagraj. This rangoli is of 55,000 square feet and 11 tonnes of color will be used in it.
This rangoli is being prepared by a team of skilled artists and volunteers, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India and its artistic heritage. According to the information, it will depict themes of spirituality, unity and devotion, which resonates with the sacred atmosphere of Maha Kumbh.
The organizers have emphasized on environmentally conscious approach in this initiative and have also ensured that these colors will not harm the river Ganga. It is set to become a significant attraction of the Maha Kumbh Mela along with other attractions like rangoli cultural performances, spiritual discourses and the iconic Ganga Aarti.

The aim of the preparations for this Maha Kumbh is to make the Kumbh Mela not only divine but also modern and grand. As part of these preparations, sculptures depicting key elements of Indian mythology and culture are being installed at important traffic junctions around Prayagraj. The major figures displayed include Arjuna, Garuda, Nandi, Gada (mace), and Goddess Ganga, which are designed to fascinate pilgrims visiting the city.
