Today, on the occasion of Constitution Day, PM Modi reached the Supreme Court and addressed here. PM wished all the countrymen on Constitution Day. Also said that I respectfully bow to the Constitution of India and all the members of the Constituent Assembly. Further he also mentioned the anniversary of Mumbai attacks. PM said that we cannot forget that today is the anniversary of Mumbai attack, I pay tribute to those who died in this attack. Every terrorist organization that challenges the democratic system will be given a befitting reply.

Our Constitution showed the way

PM further said that the suffering that Baba Saheb used to talk about is very important. The makers of our Constitution knew that India's aspirations would reach new heights. Our Constitution has shown the way for the challenges that the country has faced in the last 75 years. During this time emergency also came. Constitution Day was celebrated for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir today. Over the years, work has been done to bring economic and social equality among the people in the country. 4 crore people have got houses in 10 years.

The PM said that there is a solution to all our problems in the Constitution. This is the time for accomplishment of big resolutions. The original copy of the Constitution has pictures of Shri Ram and Mother Sita. Nari Shakti Vandan Act was brought to increase the participation of women. There was a time when senior citizens had to go to the bank to get pension and prove that they were alive, today the work is done sitting at home. Free insurance up to Rs 5 lakh is given to the people of the country.

Modi quipped that I have worked according to the work given to me by the Constitution. I have fulfilled my responsibilities within the limits of my authority. I did not encroach on anyone's jurisdiction. In such times, a hint is enough. I won't say anything more than that… thanks.
