Srinagar: Once again a terrorist attack has taken place in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. This time terrorists have carried out a grenade attack on the CRPF bunker outside the All India Radio Station. According to the information received, 10 to 12 people are injured in this attack.
Lashkar commander Usman Bhai was killed recently
Recently news had come out that Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Usman Bhai had been killed in an encounter by security forces in Khaniyar area of Srinagar. IGP Kashmir VK Birdi had confirmed the killing of Lashkar commander Usman. He told that Usman was involved in many cases related to terrorism. He was involved in attacks on non-Kashmiris and security forces. He was also involved in the murder of Inspector Masroor.
Four security personnel were also injured in the encounter that took place in Khanyar area of Srinagar on Saturday morning. A police officer had said that after receiving information about the presence of terrorists, the security forces had cordoned off the Khanyar area and started a search operation. He told that during this time the terrorists opened fire on the security forces, after which the security forces also retaliated and the search operation turned into an encounter. Officials said the encounter is ongoing and one terrorist has been killed. The killed terrorist was Pakistani and was associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba.
