In Maharashtra, the trend of Uddhav group leaders abusing women is not stopping. Recently, Arvind Sawant had made objectionable remarks to Mumba Devi about Shiv Sena Shinde faction's female candidate Shaina NC. Uddhav faction MP Arvind Sawant had called Shaina NC an imported product. Now a new name of Sunil Raut has been added to this list. Sanjay Raut's brother Sunil Raut has given objectionable statement regarding the female candidate of Shinde group. Sunil Raut has called Shinde faction's Shiv Sena's Suvarna Karanje, who is contesting against him from Vikhroli, a goat. Sunil Raut has said that this goat has been made a 'scapegoat' by the Shinde group, which will be slaughtered on November 20.
What was Sunil Raut's statement?
Sunil Raut said, “This fight is not for me to win, I have not even started the campaign yet. She is roaming around with her two sons-in-law and a boy. She brings two or four hired ponies, tell me, the fight should also be like this.” There should be an equal competition, I am Sunil Raut, Sanjay Raut is my elder brother, who shook Modi and Shah, so the competition should be like that, of their own level, but no one can stand before me. I don't have the courage, everything is behind, now someone had to make a goat, so he put the goat around my neck, now we will slaughter the goat on the 20th.”
An FIR has been registered against Sunil Raut for this objectionable statement. A case has been registered at Vikhroli police station on the complaint of Suvarna Karanje. Suvarna Karanje lodged a complaint with Vikhroli police saying that this statement is insulting to women. On Vikhroli seat, Sanjay Raut's brother Sunil Raut is contesting from Uddhav Thackeray's party, while Suvarna Karanje is contesting from Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena. At the same time, Sunil Raut's reaction has also come to light after the case was registered. Sunil Raut has said that a befitting reply will be given after 23rd.
