Jammu: Leaders of BJP's Jammu and Kashmir unit have demanded action against PDP President Mehbooba Mufti. Recently, Mehbooba Mufti had compared the conditions of Bangladesh with India, on which BJP has protested and demanded action. Apart from this, BJP leaders welcomed the termination of services of two government employees by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha over terrorist links. He said such actions should be continued in future also to completely eliminate the ecosystem of terrorism in the Union Territory.
Ravindra Raina protested
In fact, former Jammu and Kashmir BJP president Ravindra Raina said, “Mehbooba's controversial statement comparing the situation in Bangladesh with India is completely wrong and condemnable. The world is aware of the worst human rights violations in Bangladesh, where minority communities are facing targeted attacks, women are being insulted and an elected prime minister has been forced to flee the country. Apart from this, the statues of the country’s founder have been desecrated.” Ravindra Raina further said, “Jammu and Kashmir government should pay serious attention to Mehbooba's anti-national statements and her conspiracies. Action should be taken against them.”
What did Mehbooba Mufti say
Let us inform that while addressing the party workers in Jammu, the PDP President had called upon the people to stand up to counter the alleged polarization efforts of the BJP. He asked what is the difference between Bangladesh and India. He said, “Our Hindu brothers in Bangladesh are facing oppression, but if we do the same with minorities here (in India), then what is the difference? Our country is so great that it is known throughout the world for its secular character.” (input- agency)
