Parag Shah is the sitting BJP MLA from Ghatkopar seat and Shah is also a real estate developer. His many projects are spread across Gujarat and Chennai. In the 2017 BMC elections, he had declared his assets worth Rs 690 crore. His wife Mansi also has assets worth crores which include commercial, residential and agricultural properties. Earlier in the 2019 assembly elections also, Parag Shah was the richest candidate with assets worth more than Rs 500 crore. Along with this, it was revealed in the affidavit that he had movable assets worth Rs 422 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 78 crore.
