Samajwadi Party will clash with Congress in Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) in Maharashtra. The deadline for withdrawal of nomination has ended. The tension of rebellion has not reduced in MVA. Maharashtra unit Samajwadi Party president Abu Azmi is angry with the Congress. Abu Azmi said, 'He is in alliance with MVA on only two seats. MVA people are also supporting an independent against me. I am being told that the candidates should back me or else they will not support me. Injustice has been done to us.

I have to keep the party alive – Abu Azmi

Samajwadi Party President in Maharashtra Abu Azmi said, 'I am angry with Congress. Akhilesh Yadav talked to Congress, still they did not listen to him and did not discuss anything with us. I have to keep the party alive. I will contest the elections, whatever happens remains to be seen. If votes are divided then let them be divided. Where our candidates are not there, we will help the MVA.

SP is contesting elections on 8 seats

Along with this, Abu Azmi said, 'Samajwadi Party had asked for 12 seats but got only 2. Where the party's current MLAs are. Out of them, they are supporting independents against me. Now Samajwadi Party will contest elections on 6 seats against MVA candidates. SP will contest elections on a total of 8 seats.

Nihal Ahmed is contesting elections from SP against Congress.
