Jashpur: A surprising case has come to light from Jashpur, Chhattisgarh. Here a man's wife was raped and when he came to lodge a report, the outpost in-charge demanded a cock and cash from him as bribe.
What is the whole matter?
In Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh, a man has complained to the SP that the outpost in-charge has demanded a chicken and cash from him for filing a report of rape of his wife. However, SP says that the person has made this complaint under someone's influence. Nevertheless he has ordered an investigation into the matter.
The victim wrote in the complaint sent to the SP that his wife was raped on December 2. When he reached Pandarapath outpost with his wife to complain about this, the outpost in-charge demanded Rs 5,000 in cash and a chicken from him. The victim said that he also gave Rs 500 to the post in-charge. On the next day, the victim again gave Rs 500 to the outpost in-charge and also bought a chicken worth Rs 600.
The victim says that he is poor and at the behest of the post in-charge, he had taken Rs 10,000 by mortgaging his land. Out of which Rs 9 thousand have been spent. In such a situation, action should be taken against the post in-charge.
