Bijnor: A tragic accident took place in Dhampur area of the district on Saturday morning. Here, seven people died in a road accident due to dense fog, while two people are said to be injured. It is being told that this accident happened on Dehradun-Nainital National Highway in Dhampur. Here a speeding car hit the auto hard from behind. Seven people including the auto driver have died in the accident. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. At present the police is investigating the matter.
Family members were returning home after the wedding
According to the information received, all the people traveling in the auto were returning to their village Tibri after getting married in Jharkhand. The deceased include Khurshid (65), his son Vishal (25), daughter-in-law Khushi (22), Mumtaz (45), Ruby (32) and Bushra (10). Apart from this, an auto driver has also died. Six people of the same family were coming to their village Dhampur Tibri from Jharkhand after Vishal's marriage, when this tragic accident happened. All these people got down from the train in Moradabad, booked an auto and were going to their village.
Creta collides with auto
A Creta car hit the auto from behind near the fire station on Dhampur Nagina Marg. Due to this collision, all 6 people of the same family traveling in the auto died. The auto driver also died while being taken to the hospital. Sherkot residents Sohail Alvi and Aman, who were riding the Creta injured in the accident, have also been admitted to the hospital. SP Abhishek Jha also reached the spot and informed about the incident.

Giving information about the incident, Bijnor SP Abhishek Jha said, “Early in the morning, information was received that an auto and a car had collided. The car hit the auto and there were 7 people in the auto, out of which 6 People died. The auto driver died during treatment. A case has been registered against the car driver and he is also undergoing treatment.
