During a conversation with the Bihari expatriate community in America, Prashant Kishore said, “Bihar is indeed a backward state. The state is surrounded by many difficulties and large-scale efforts are needed for its all-round development.” Prashant Kishore also claimed that the biggest challenge for him is that the society has become 'hopeless' about the improvement in the situation in Bihar. Prashant Kishore said that when you become hopeless then there is a need to take immediate action.
Liquor ban will be lifted – Prashant Kishore
Prashant Kishor has said that if his Jan Suraj Party wins the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, the top priority will be to improve school education. He also said that the ban on liquor would be lifted and the revenue generated from it would be used to improve education. Prashant Kishore said that everything is not over in Bihar yet. Kishore said that what Jansuraj has been doing for the last 2.5 years has definitely raised some hope. However, it will take time to get concrete results in the elections and to stake claim to form the government.
Appeal for support of Jan Suraj
Speaking to the migrant community of Bihar, Prashant Kishore said that if Bihar were a country, it would have been the 11th largest country in the world in terms of population. Bihar has also left Japan behind in terms of population. Prashant Kishore requested the people of Bihari community living in America to ask their friends and relatives to support and vote for Jan Suraj Abhiyan.
