New Delhi: The situation is bad in Delhi due to pollution. In such a situation, Delhi government has taken a big decision. To reduce pollution in Delhi, Delhi government has decided to implement work from home policy in government offices.

What is the meaning of this decision?

Under this decision, 50% of Delhi government employees will work from home. For its implementation, a meeting will be held with officials today at 1 pm in the Secretariat.

Environment Minister had recently said this

Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai on Tuesday had said a decision would soon be taken on implementing work-from-home measures and the odd-even scheme to deal with the city's deteriorating air quality. Gopal Rai had said that people including children and senior citizens are struggling to breathe and we deeply regret this situation.

He had said that the air quality in Delhi has remained in the severe plus category since Sunday. Regarding implementing work from home in private and government companies of Delhi, the minister had said that we will take a decision on this soon. The government has already imposed several restrictions on vehicles under Grape-IV. We are analyzing the impact of these measures. After this, a decision will be taken on running the vehicles in the capital on the basis of odd-even formula.
