Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday recalled his relations with former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and also made a big revelation. Nitish Kumar said that late Bharatiya Janata Party veteran leader Atal ji had made him the Chief Minister of Bihar decades ago. Addressing a rally in Arrah, Bihar, Nitish said, “I was a minister in the government of late Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji.” He liked me very much. It was he who made me the Chief Minister of Bihar. I made some mistakes but now we will work together.

Nitish Kumar's sarcasm on RJD

Nitish said, “We saw that no work was being done. During the RJD government, no one was able to leave their homes after the evening due to fear… clashes used to happen because of them. They only wanted Muslim votes… but Hindu-Muslim conflicts were increasing… Have there been any clashes after we came to power? Nitish Kumar indirectly took a dig at Rashtriya Janata Dal.
