TRAI New Rule for Jio Airtel Vi BSNL: In today's time, mobile phone has become a basic necessity. We cannot spend even a few hours without it. Mobile has made many tasks in our life very easy, but mobile has also increased our expenses a lot. Due to recharge plans being expensive, taking the plan again and again becomes quite expensive. Many people take a new plan as soon as the recharge is over, thinking that their number might get switched off. Let us tell you about the new rule of TRAI (TRAI Sim Card Rule) related to the validity of SIM card (Sim Card Active rule).

Do you know that if you do not recharge your SIM, for how many days will it remain active? Many people are not aware of this. Most of the people do not know about the validity of the SIM and that is why they recharge it hurriedly. In such a situation, there is a big problem for those people who use two SIM cards.

Recently, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued some rules related to SIM cards. The new rules of TRAI have given great relief to mobile users. Even if the recharge plan of your mobile has expired, now you will not need to recharge immediately. Your SIM card will remain active for many months without a recharge plan.

TRAI rules for Jio users

If you use Jio SIM, then you can keep your SIM active for 90 days without recharging. If there is no recharge plan, incoming service on your number will remain active for 90 days. However, you will not be able to avail the outgoing service without recharge. To keep the SIM active after 90 days, you will have to take a validity plan of Rs 99. If you do not take this plan then your number will be disconnected.

TRAI rules for Airtel

If you use Airtel SIM, then let us tell you that without recharging, you can keep the Airtel SIM card active only for 60 days. After 60 days you will have to take a validity plan of Rs 45. In this also you will be able to avail the benefit of only incoming service for 60 days.

TRAI rules for Vi

If you use Vi SIM, then let us tell you that you can keep your SIM card active for 90 days without any recharge plan. After this, you will have to take a plan of Rs 49 to keep the SIM active.

TRAI rules for BSNL

You can keep the SIM card of government company BSNL active for the maximum number of days without any recharge plan. In this you get validity of 180 days. Meaning, incoming service will remain active on your number for 180 days after the recharge plan ends.

Pay special attention to this

Let us tell you that if you do not recharge Jio, Airtel, Vi or BSNL SIM card for 180 days, then in this condition your number will be shifted to someone else. Therefore, if you also have a number which has not been recharged for a long time, then recharge it immediately.
