Let us tell you that Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI also gives the option of masked Aadhaar card to Aadhaar holders. If you are asked for Aadhar card during hotel check-in, you can use it. Masked Aadhaar card is completely safe and your personal details also remain hidden from it. Your complete Aadhaar number is not written in the masked Aadhaar card, due to which no one can steal your details. In masked Aadhaar card, the first 8 numbers are completely blurred and only the last 4 digits are visible.
Download masked Aadhar card like this
- To download masked Aadhaar card, visit myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in website and login.
- In the next step you will have to enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code after which an OTP will be sent to you.
- Now you have to complete the verification by entering the OTP received on your mobile number.
- Now you have to go to the Services section and click on the option of Download Aadhaar.
- In the Review Your Demographic Data section, you will be given the option of Do you want a masked Aadhaar, click on it.
- In the next step, you will now have to click on the download option. After which your masked Aadhar card will be downloaded in PDF format.
