New guidelines have been issued by the government regarding internet use during air travel. It was told by the government that during air travel, passengers will be able to use Internet through Wi-Fi only after crossing the altitude of 3 thousand meters.

The new guidelines state that air travelers can use electronic devices only after reaching an altitude of 3 thousand meters. New guidelines have been issued by the government under the Flight and Sea Connectivity Rules 2018.
Such guidelines have been issued by the government to avoid interference with the mobile towers present on the ground. Now the newly notified rules will be known as the Air and Sea Connectivity (Amendment) Rules, 2024.
