First the hackers lured the person to invest through social engineering. In order to earn high returns, the person agreed to everything the hackers said and wasted his hard-earned money. The hackers asked the man to download an app for investment. For this, APK link was sent to him through WhatsApp message.

Using the APK link sent through WhatsApp message, the person first downloaded the app on his smartphone and then, lured by the lure of high returns, allegedly invested his earnings.
