WhatsApp Has ended a lot of tension of crores of its users. Now users are going to get a special feature to share documents through instant messaging app. In early 2025, Meta's instant messaging platform has added this feature for 295 crore users around the world. Using this feature, users can easily scan their documents and send them to someone. Users will not need any third party apps to scan documents.
WhatsApp users can scan a document using their phone's camera and share it with anyone. Users will get the facility to scan documents without leaving the app or using any third party apps. WhatsApp has currently rolled out this feature for iOS i.e. iPhone users. Soon, this feature will also be available to Android users.
Use it like this
- Before using this feature, make sure that the WhatsApp installed on your iPhone is updated with the latest version.
- After this, open the app and select the contact or group with which you want to share it.
- In the chat window you have to tap on the '+' icon.
- After this you will have to select the document option.
- Here you will get three options – 'Choose from files', 'Choose Photo or video' and 'Scan Document'.
- Among these, select the option 'Scan document' and scan the document and send it to the contact.
WhatsApp became the first choice of cyber criminals
Talking about other news related to WhatsApp, in the statistics of cyber crimes committed through social media platforms released by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), WhatsApp has once again been the most misused social media platform. This year, many cases of digital arrest have come to light, in which criminals have defrauded people of crores of rupees by making video calling through WhatsApp. According to the Home Ministry report, a total of 43,797 complaints of cyber fraud were registered in the first quarter of 2024, out of which the maximum of 22,680 complaints were of frauds done through WhatsApp.
