The company has advised users not to call back on missed calls coming from such international numbers. Jio has asked to block such numbers immediately.

Let us tell you that in this scam, scammers first make short calls to the users. In case of a missed call, as soon as a user calls back, that call is connected to the premium service. This premium service is so expensive that you cannot even imagine. Many times such calls are charged up to Rs 100 per minute. To avoid any suspicion, scammers make missed calls from the same numbers again and again. Therefore, if you receive a call from an international number, do not respond to it but block it immediately.
