PAK vs WI: The second test match between Pakistan and West Indies started from January 25 in Rawalpindi. The spinners were in great form on the first day. While the Pakistani bowler managed to take a hat-trick, the West Indies spinners also took full advantage of the turning pitch. The result was that 20 wickets fell on the very first day. In this way, thanks to the brilliant all-round performance of Gudakesh Moti and Jomel Warrican, West Indies took a lead of nine runs till stumps against Pakistan in the second Test. Moti scored 55 runs and thanks to his first Test half-century, the visiting team recovered from the poor score of 54 runs for eight wickets and were reduced to 163 runs.

Left-arm spinner Moti took three wickets for 49 runs on a pitch favored by spinners in Multan and helped the home team bundle out 154 runs. Pakistan's Noman Ali's hat-trick and brilliant bowling of 6 wickets for 41 runs was overshadowed by Moti's all-round performance.

Pakistan's bet backfired

Pakistan's batsmen, who made spin pitches, got trapped in their own trap. Warrican took four wickets for 43 runs and also played an unbeaten inning of 36 runs at number 11. Mohammad Rizwan (49) and Saud Shakeel (32) rescued Pakistan by making a partnership of 68 runs for the fifth wicket. But the team could score only 154 runs. In the first Test, the West Indies team was out for 137 and 123 runs against spin within three days.

The playing eleven of both the teams is as follows:

Pakistan's playing eleven: Shan Masood (captain), Muhammad Huraira, Babar Azam, Kamran Ghulam, Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Aga, Sajid Khan, Noman Ali, Abrar Ahmed, Kashif Ali.

West Indies playing eleven: Kraigg Brathwaite (captain), Joshua Da Silva (vice-captain), Alek Athanazé, Casey Carty, Justin Greaves, Kaveem Hodge, Tevin Imlach, Aamir Jangu, Mikail Lewis, Gudakesh Moti, Anderson Phillip, Kemar Roach, Kevin Sinclair, Jayden Seales, Jomel Warikan.
