Aryan Juyal Double Century: On one hand, in India, there is a lot of buzz about the T20I series between Team India and England, while on the other hand, the prestigious domestic cricket tournament Ranji Trophy remains in the news because of the star players. Many Indian players who failed on the Australia tour are playing in the sixth round of Ranji Trophy 2024-25. These include many big players like Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ravindra Jadeja. Among these big faces, a batsman from Lucknow Super Giants i.e. LSG has created a stir by scoring a double century. This double century was seen in the match being played between Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

LSG batsman hits double century

Uttar Pradesh captain Aryan Juyal scored a brilliant double century, breaking the back of Bihar bowlers. Facing 256 balls, he scored unbeaten 200 runs with the help of 18 fours and 1 six. This double century from Juyal's bat before IPL 2025 is going to please the camp of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Aryan Juyal will be seen playing for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2025. Earlier he was a part of 5-time champion Mumbai Indians.

Thanks to Juyal's double century, the UP team declared its first innings at the score of 603/2 runs. Apart from Juyal, Abhishek Goswami played an inning of 198 runs and Karan Sharma played an inning of 118 runs. Whereas, Madhav Sharma contributed 63 runs. In this match, Bihar's first innings was reduced to 248 runs. After this, UP scored 602 runs and took a lead of 354 runs.

Reached Lucknow after Mumbai

Young Juyal, who entered domestic cricket in 2018, made his debut in first class cricket for UP in 2019 at the age of 17. So far, he has scored 1661 runs in 25 first class matches at an average of more than 40. During this period, he has scored 6 centuries and 6 half-centuries with his bat. These 6 centuries include 2 double centuries. Aryan Juyal was also a part of the Indian team that won the Under-19 World Cup in 2018. After this, on the basis of his excellent performance in domestic cricket, he made a place in Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023 and now he is a part of Lucknow Super Giants team.
