Ranji Trophy 2024-25: The Ranji Trophy quarter-finals between Jammu and Kashmir and Kerala will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) stadium from 8 February. Although the match was scheduled to be held in Srinagar earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association demanded a change of venue due to meteorological concerns from the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI). The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association said that there was a forecast of bad weather, which could have caused any kind of problem in the match. After this, the BCCI decided to organize the match at the MCA Stadium in Pune.

MCA President Rohit Pawar said about the change that the stadium has excellent infrastructure for such matches, and he is sure that this will be a great experience for both teams under these circumstances. He also said that the match at this site can be organized without any kind of meteorological problems. At the same time, MCA Secretary Kamlesh Pisal also said that weather in Pune is not a matter of concern and this place has proved to be an ideal place for this important match.

In this quarter-final match, Jammu and Kashmir team defeated Baroda by 182 runs in the final match of Group A on Sunday to secure their place in the quarter-finals with defending champions Mumbai.
