Talking about the 24-member Indian women's hockey team announced for FIH Pro League 2024-25, Salima will handle the responsibility of captaincy, besides forward player Navneet Kaur has been given the responsibility of vice-captain. In the Bhubaneswar phase, the Indian team has to play the match 2–2 times with England, Netherlands, Spain and Germany. Stocker Vandana Kataria has also got a place in this team, which was out of the Asian Champions Trophy tournament. Talking about this team, veteran defender Nikki Pradhan, Jyoti Chhatri, midfielder Baljit Kaur and Forward Mumtaz Khan and Rutuja Dadas have also been included in the team. According to FIH rules, if a team has more than four matches in any phase of Pro League, then a 24 -member team can be changed after the first four matches.
