It is said that appearing like ghosts on this day brings peace to the souls of ancestors. On Halloween Day, people go to the homes of their friends, relatives and neighbors and play many games with them.

Halloween Day is celebrated on 31 October. In many countries from America to Britain, people celebrate it in the memory of their ancestors. This time Halloween Day will be organized on Thursday. The history of Halloween Day is about 2000 years old. In Northern Europe, the 'All Set's Day' festival was celebrated on 1 November, which is now called Halloween Eve.

How did Halloween begin?

Halloween Day started from the Christian community. Earlier people used to celebrate Halloween Day in Ireland and Scotland. There is a tradition of hanging these pumpkins on trees in the dark after the celebration of Halloween. Some people also bury this pumpkin.
