If you are not able to spare much time for fitness then do plank for just 5 minutes daily. Plank is a good exercise to maintain fitness. If you are not able to run, walk or do any kind of exercise, then definitely make plank a part of your routine. This reduces the extra fat accumulated on the stomach. Benefits of doing plank for 5 minutes daily

By doing plank for some time, the stiff muscles in the body become flexible. This reduces muscle stress and helps in reducing belly fat. Doing plank also improves the balance of your body. How long should you do plank?
Doing plank exercise for 5 minutes daily is considered effective. This reduces belly fat. People who have sagging stomach will see a lot of difference by doing this exercise continuously for one month. In Plank, initially you have to try to hold yourself for 60 seconds i.e. 1 minute at a time. If you are not able to do it the first time, then by doing it daily you can hold yourself for 1 minute. Doing plank puts pressure on the abdominal muscles and reduces the fat accumulated on the belly.
Correct way to do plank exercise
To do plank, lie down on your stomach on a yoga mat. Now raise the body upward by putting pressure on the palms and toes and keep the body straight. In plank posture, it is important to keep your body in a straight line and hold this pose as long as possible. You have to do plank for at least 5 minutes every day. You will be able to hold only for 30 seconds in the beginning. Take it slowly for more than 1 minute and repeat at least 3 or 5 times.
