The festival of Basant Panchami in India is celebrated with great pomp. On this special day, people make different types of sweet things for mother Saraswati. If you also want to make something special in bhog for mother Saraswati, then you must try this recipe of sweet boondi. Let me tell you that you will not take much time to make this dish.
First step- To make sweet boondi, you have to first filter 2 cup gram flour in a bowl. After this, mix the ghee in the dough.
Second step- Now add half cup of water and mix it. You have to prepare a smooth batter of gram flour while adding a little water.
Third step- Keep this batter of gram flour covered for about 15 minutes. After this, whisk this batter four times and then add one spoon water to it and mix it well.
Fourth step- Now you can add two drops of saffron food color in this mixture. To make sugar syrup, you have to boil them by adding 2 cups of sugar and water in a pan.
Fifth step- Cook the syrup for two to three minutes. Keep in mind that the syrup should neither be too thick nor too thin.
Sixth step- Add some threads of saffron in the syrup and keep it covered for a while. After this, heat the ghee in a pan and then grate a spoon solution and add it slowly.
Seventh step- When Bundi starts swimming, cook it while stirring in between. Now you have to mix fried boondi in hot syrup and mix.
Eighth step- After a while, filter the boondi with a splash so that the extra syrup comes out. Now you can offer this sweet boondi in the enjoyment of Saraswati Maa.
