Ingredients for making jaggery tea
You will not need many fancy ingredients to make jaggery tea. To make this nutrient-rich tea, you will need two cups of water, one cup of milk, two to three spoons of jaggery, one spoon of tea leaves, ginger and cardamom. If you want, you can also use cinnamon.
This procedure should be followed
First of all, pour water in a pan and boil it. Now add ginger, cardamom or cinnamon to this water and boil it for about two minutes. Only after the water and spices boil, you have to add tea leaves to the pan. You have to boil this mixture well until the tea gets its color. Now grind the jaggery into small pieces and add it to the mixture and then let the jaggery melt well on low flame. After this, lastly you have to add milk in this mixture and then let the tea cook on low flame for about two minutes.
Taste and health too
Your tea is ready to serve. Strain the tea into a cup and enjoy the taste of hot jaggery tea. There is something different about drinking jaggery tea in winters.
