This year Basant Panchami is being celebrated on 2 February. Mother Saraswati is worshiped on the day of Basant Panchami and is offered with yellow dish. If you also want to make something tasty on this day, then you can offer Rava Kesari. Let me tell you, Rava Kesari is a South Indian popular sweet pudding made from rava and milk. You can use milk saffron to make its color light yellow. However, most people do not know the recipe for making Rava Kesari. So, in such a situation, you know the recipe for making Rava Kesari which you can easily adopt.
Ingredients for Rava Kesari:
Rava – 1 cup, milk – 2 cups, sugar – 1 cup, ghee – 1/4 cup, saffron – 1/4 teaspoon, cardamom powder – 1/4 teaspoon, cashew or almond – 10-12
Method of making Rava Kesari:

First step: First of all, turn on the gas and heat the ghee in a pan and add rava to it and roast it. Fill the rava on medium flame until it becomes golden. When the rava is roasted, take it out in a vessel. Now heat milk in another pan and add sugar and saffron to it. Let the sugar dissolve completely. The color of milk will turn yellow due to saffron.

Second step: Now, pour the roasted rava into a mixture of milk and saffron and mix well together. Now cook this mixture well on medium heat until it becomes thick. Add one teaspoon of ghee above them. Now add cardamom powder over the top and mix the mixture well.

Third step: Add cashews or almonds to the last and mix the mixture well (to make Rava Kesari more tasty, you can also add other dry fruits such as pistachios and raisins). Serve warm to rava Kesari and enjoy its taste. You can store Rava Kesari in the fridge and store it for 2-3 days.
