Clothes do not dry quickly in winter season. Because of this, clothes start smelling bad. Due to humidity in the weather, clothes feel slightly wet and if you keep such clothes in the cupboard, then those clothes start smelling like fish. In such a situation, it is impossible to keep the clothes clean and fresh. So that you do not get troubled by this problem, we have brought some great tips for you. With the help of these tips, you can easily dry your clothes and save them from bad smell.

Try these tips to keep clothes from smelling:

  • Allow to dry thoroughly before storing: If there is even a little bit of wetness or moisture in the clothes, do not store them. Keep the clothes in the cupboard only after they dry completely. Otherwise the clothes will start smelling terrible.

  • Put your clothes on immediately when the sun comes: Clothes can fade very quickly in sunlight, so whenever you see sunlight outside the house, dry your clothes immediately. Sunlight and wind not only help in drying the clothes but also remove the smell from them.

  • Use dryer: After washing the clothes, use the dryer to dry them. After wringing out the clothes, dry them with a dryer for 10-15 minutes. This will remove excess moisture from the clothes and the clothes will dry quickly in the air.

  • Dry under a fan: Dry the clothes in a place where there is good ventilation. Clothes will dry quickly even with wind. If you are drying your clothes indoors, dry them under a fan. This will reduce the moisture in the air and the clothes will dry faster.

  • White Vinegar: Before soaking the clothes, add half a cup of white vinegar to the mixture. Mixing it will prevent the clothes from smelling bad and will also remove the odor present in the clothes.

  • Baking Soda: After washing the clothes, soak them in baking soda solution for 1 hour. Due to this, there will be no fungus in the clothes.
