However, now people doing sitting jobs are facing problems due to eating too much bread. Eating bread is beneficial for health but only when you do any kind of physical work. You should take your diet according to your work. If you eat a lot of bread throughout the day without thinking, then you may have to suffer a lot of losses due to this. According to Dietitian Swati Singh, the kind of lifestyle people are living nowadays, the use of gluten diet and milk products should be reduced. You should take only a balanced diet. Disadvantages of eating too much bread

Weight increases- Roti contains high amount of carbohydrates. If you eat bread several times a day and in large quantities, it increases the amount of carbohydrates in the body. Excessive amount of gluten in wheat can increase fat in the body. Therefore, if you want to lose weight, reduce eating bread.

stomach problems- Roti is not so easy to digest. If you eat too much bread then it becomes difficult to digest. Many times one feels heaviness in the stomach after eating bread. The stomach starts bloating. This causes stomach problems like gas, acidity or other digestive problems. Therefore, eat bread only in small quantities.

Blood sugar level may increase- Eating too much bread can increase blood sugar level. Especially eating wheat bread can cause sudden increase in blood sugar. Due to the presence of carbohydrates in wheat, there is a risk of increasing blood pressure. Therefore, you should not eat too much bread made from wheat.

Tiredness- Even though you get energy immediately after eating roti, after some time you feel very tired and lazy. The reason for this is the carbohydrates found in bread. Eating too many carbohydrates increases laziness in the body. Therefore, bread should be eaten in small quantities only.

How much bread should one eat in a day?

A man should not eat more than 5-6 chapatis in a day. A woman should not eat more than 4 chapatis in a day. If you want to lose weight, you should not eat more than 4-5 rotis in a day. Instead of roti, it is better that you eat rice in limited quantity.
