Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA T Raja from Telangana's Goshamahal here on Sunday asked Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to teach a lesson to land jihadists like his Uttar Pradesh counterpart Yogi Adityanath. Addressing a mahapanchayat organized by Hindu organization 'Devbhoomi Vichar Manch' at Ramlila Maidan against a mosque in Uttarkashi here, Raja said that he has come here from Hyderabad to ask Chief Minister Dhami to discuss with Yogi Adityanath over tea.
He said, “The way Yogi ji teaches a lesson to land jihadists in Uttar Pradesh, you (Dhami) also need to buy some bulldozers in Uttarakhand.” Raja claimed that Dhami has the support of one crore Hindus of the state and said that he should understand their sentiments.
CM should be careful and teach a lesson to everyone
T Raja said, “They (Hindus) want land jihad free Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand is heaven but the conspiracy to turn it into hell is being done by land jihadists, our Chief Minister of Uttarakhand needs to be careful and teach them all a lesson.” Raja told the people present in the Mahapanchayat that the political parties who come to ask for their votes should make them realize that to win the elections, they will have to drive out the land jihadists from there. He told the youth that this is not only an issue of Uttarkashi but of entire Uttarakhand and everyone needs to unite to avoid land jihad and love jihad.
It is necessary to stop illegal mosques
Raja said, “You should inculcate this in the minds of one crore Hindus here that we are one and whoever drives away the 25 lakh Rohingya and Bangladeshi infiltrators will get our blessings.” He said that mosques being built illegally need to be stopped. The BJP MLA said that this fight will also be fought through legal means. BJP MLA from Gangotri Suresh Chauhan and Hindu leader Swami Darshan Bharti also participated in the Mahapanchayat held under tight security. Chauhan said that the Dhami government of the state has taken strict steps on land jihad and love jihad and this will continue in future also. He also said that Uttarkashi will be made a religious city and meat, fish and liquor shops will be removed from here.
Demand for investigation against people coming from outside states
In the Mahapanchayat, demands for investigation against love jihad, land jihad, illegal encroachment and people coming from outside states were raised. This mosque of Sunni community was built decades ago. Regarding this mosque, Hindu organizations claim that the mosque is built illegally on government land. Earlier, in October, Hindu organizations had also taken out a rally demanding the demolition of the mosque. The protesters allegedly pelted stones after the police stopped the rally from moving on the Bhatwadi road and the police had to resort to mild lathicharge. 27 people, including seven policemen, were injured in the violent clash between police and protesters.
