Cuttack: Tension has spread in Pattapol area of ​​Cuttack due to a clash between two groups on Wednesday evening. Five people were injured in this incident and many vehicles were damaged. According to the information, the clash started with an argument over motorcycle parking, which soon turned into a violent clash. Both the groups started throwing stones and glass bottles at each other. Seeing the deteriorating atmosphere, the local people became frightened.

The clash started after a minor argument

As soon as information about the incident was received, the police force led by DCP Jagmohan Meena reached the spot and the situation was brought under control. The DCP said that the fight started after a minor argument. The police calmed the area within 10-15 minutes and took the injured to the hospital. In addition, stones and glass pieces lying on the roads were cleaned.

According to local people, such incidents are nothing new in Pattapol area. A similar clash had taken place during Durga Puja immersion last month. DCP Jagmohan Meena has assured that concrete steps will be taken to stop such incidents. Also, it has been decided to increase patrolling in the area and keep an eye on anti-social elements.

The injured are being treated in the local hospital. There was tension in the area after the clash, but due to police action the situation has now become normal. This incident raises serious questions on the lack of security in the area and the increasing activities of anti-social elements. Local people are appealing to the administration to take strict action so that such incidents can be avoided in future.
