India-China Border Disengagement: Local military commanders of India and China will meet today (on Thursday) in Depsang and Demchok on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh. By Tuesday evening, tents and temporary structures were removed from both the places. The place where vehicles and soldiers had to be moved back has also been completed. Disengagement and verification were going on simultaneously. Aerial verification through UAV was completed in Depsang on Tuesday.

In such a situation, patrolling will start from Thursday i.e. 31st October. Now soldiers of both the countries will be able to patrol at all the places where they were patrolling before April 2020.
