The winter session of Parliament will begin from November 25 and continue till December 20. Information about the program of the winter session has been given by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju. Kiren Rijiju said on social media platform X that Constitution Day will also be celebrated in the Central Hall of Parliament on November 26, the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution.
There will be 21 meetings in the session
The winter session of Parliament will have 21 sittings. Important bills will be passed in this. The Waqf (Amendment) Bill may be discussed in the session after considering the recommendations of the Joint Parliamentary Committee. The government can also inform Parliament about efforts to reduce tension between India and China in eastern Ladakh.
Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly election results will be out
Let us tell you that this is the first winter session after the Lok Sabha elections held earlier this year. There may also be an uproar between the ruling party and the opposition in this session. This winter session is taking place after the Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir elections. Along with this, the assembly election results of Maharashtra and Jharkhand will also come by then.
