The winter session of Parliament has started from Monday. The NDA alliance party has registered victory in the assembly elections held in two states of the country. Meanwhile, opposition parties demanded a discussion on the Adani issue in Parliament. Due to this there was an uproar in the Parliament. The proceedings of the lower house of Parliament have been adjourned after paying tribute to 18th Lok Sabha MPs Vasant Rao Chavan and Noorul Islam and some other late former members – MM Lawrence, M Parvati and Harish Chandra Devarao Chavan. On the other hand, the proceedings of Rajya Sabha have also been postponed. Opposition members created ruckus demanding discussion on the issue of allegations against Adani Group. For this reason, the proceedings of Rajya Sabha have been adjourned on Monday.
