If their demands are not met, farmers are going to gather once again in Delhi. Farmers are going to protest in Delhi today regarding their demands. The meeting between the farmers of Greater Noida and the authority lasted for about 3 hours, but no positive result could be achieved from this meeting. After the meeting, the farmers have now decided to march to Delhi on Monday (December 2) with their demands.
According to the information, more than 10 farmer organizations are participating in this Delhi march of farmers under the banner of United Kisan Morcha. During this period, the number of farmers may exceed 50 thousand in March. The aim of the farmers is to surround the Parliament, for this they will gather near Mahamaya flyover in Noida by 12 noon on Monday and will travel to Delhi from here. At present, all these farmers are sitting on strike in front of Yamuna Authority for the last four days.
What are the demands of the farmers?
- Farmers said that four times compensation was given for the highway being built in Gorakhpur, whereas Gautam Buddha Nagar has been deprived of the benefit of four times compensation.
- Apart from this, the circle rate has also not increased for 10 years. The benefits of the new law will have to be implemented in the district.
- The main demands of the farmers include 10 percent developed land, recommendations of the High Power Committee and benefits of the new land acquisition law.
Gautam Buddha Nagar Police traffic advisory issued
Gautam Buddha Nagar Police along with Delhi Police has been alerted on the information about farmers' march to Delhi. With this, checking has started on the Delhi border. At the same time, on Monday, barricades will be installed on all the routes going from Gautam Buddha Nagar to Delhi. In such circumstances there is a possibility of traffic jam. In view of this situation, Gautam Buddha Nagar Police has issued an advisory for the drivers.
Traffic Diversion-
It has been said in the advisory that in case of increase in traffic pressure on Delhi border, route diversion will be done on many roads. During this time, people can use metro services to avoid jams and other problems. According to the police, the movement of heavy vehicles will remain closed on the route from Yamuna Expressway to Delhi via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and from Sirsa to Surajpur via Parichowk.
Vehicles will pass like this-
- Vehicles going from Chilla Border towards Greater Noida – will go from Sector 14A flyover via Golchakkar Chowk, Sector 15 via Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk, Jhundpura Chowk.
- Vehicles going from DND border to Delhi will pass through Film City flyover via Sector 18 via elevated road.
- Vehicles coming to Delhi from Kalindi border will go to their destination via Mahamaya flyover via Sector 37.
- Vehicles going from Greater Noida towards Delhi will reach their destination via Kalindi Kunj via Charkha roundabout.
- Vehicles using Yamuna Expressway will descend from Jewar Toll towards Khurja and will reach the destination via Jahangirpur.
- Vehicles going to Delhi from Peripheral Expressway will go via Dadri and Dasna.
