Indian investigative agencies have achieved great success. Actually, Salman Rehman Khan, a big most wanted terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba, has been brought to India from Rwanda through Interpol channels. NIA team brought the terrorist to India through CBI. Let us tell you that a Red Corner Notice was issued against the terrorist. The National Investigation Agency had registered a case against Salman in 2023 under sections of the Arms Act and Explosive Substances Act for criminal conspiracy, being a member of a terrorist organization and involvement in terrorist activities. Being a member of Lashkar-e-Taiba, he had helped in providing arms, ammunition and explosives to carry out terrorist activities in Bengaluru city.

Case was registered in Bengaluru

A case was registered regarding this in the year 2023 at Hebbal Police Station in Bengaluru city. On the request of NIA, CBI got a Red Corner Notice issued against him from Interpol on 2 August 2024. Law enforcement agencies of all countries were informed about this to keep an eye on the wanted Salman. Later, Salman was located in Rwanda with the help of Interpol National Central Bureau Kigali. The terrorist was brought to India on 28 November 2024 by an NIA team. Recently, terrorist Barkat Ali Khan, wanted by CBI, was located in Saudi Arabia through Interpol channels. On 14 November 2024, he was brought back to India by the CBI team from Saudi Arabia.

Many terrorists brought to India with the help of Interpol

He was wanted since 2012 for the crime of rioting and use of explosive substances. CBI had got a Red Corner Notice issued against him by Interpol on 6 December 2022. The CBI had also coordinated the return of Rehan Arabikalalarikkal. A case of rape and sexual assault against a minor was registered against him at Mannarkad Police Station, Pattambi, Kerala in 2022. On the request of Kerala Police, CBI issued Red Corner Notice on 27 December 2023. He was located in Saudi Arabia with the assistance of Interpol National Central Bureau Riyadh. Later, a security team of Kerala Police went to Saudi Arabia and returned with him on 10 November 2024.
