Dinesh Lal Yadav belongs to Tandwa, a small village of Ghazipur. Noted Birha singer Vijay Lal Yadav is the elder brother of Dinesh Lal Yadav. Nirahua got immense fame from the Bhojpuri album 'Nirahua Satal Rahe', after which his name changed to Nirahua and he is known as Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua. Dinesh Lal Yadav had won the 2022 Azamgarh Lok Sabha by-election by defeating former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's cousin Dharmendra Yadav.
