Orange carrots were developed in the Middle East around the 15th or 16th century. Vitamin A, C and K are found in abundance in carrots. Essential minerals like calcium, iron, zinc, potassium and copper are found in it. Carrots are also considered a good source of carbohydrates and fiber. Consuming it daily improves eyesight, helps in weight management and reduces the risk of cancer.
