Potato
When you boil potatoes, its starch content reduces, making it easily digested. Boiled potatoes also have less calories and their glycemic index is very low. Its consumption does not increase blood sugar and is the best option for diabetes patients. That is why instead of frying potatoes, it is advisable to eat them after boiling them along with the peel. Potato contains carbohydrates, which provide energy to the body.
Carrot
Carrots start becoming available in the market during winter. Eating carrots is enjoyable only in cold weather. Carrots contain beta-carotene and vitamin A, which doubles the amount of these nutrients even after boiling. Eating boiled carrots improves eyesight, the digestive system will remain healthy and the skin will also remain young, because it contains antioxidants.

Consumption of spinach is considered good for health, because it contains plenty of iron. When you eat boiled spinach, the oxalate content found in it reduces. Let us tell you that oxalate is an element which prevents iron and calcium from being absorbed in the body. To reduce the amount of oxalate, spinach must be boiled for a few minutes.
