The Kapoor family is extremely excited to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of their late actor Raj Kapoor. He also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him for the celebrations. The video of their meeting has been released and is going viral on social media. The video shows the Kapoor family posing with PM Modi. While facing the camera, Karisma Kapoor says, 'Look, I am very nervous' and on this PM Modi teases her and says, 'Don't you people get nervous in front of the camera.' Hearing this everyone started smiling. PM Modi met Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor and other members of the Kapoor family at his residence in New Delhi. Earlier in the day, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor and others shared pictures from the meeting and expressed their gratitude towards PM Modi.

The Kapoor family is honoring Raj Kapoor's legacy by hosting a film festival that will showcase his 10 greatest films. The festival will showcase Raj Kapoor's most famous films of nearly four decades, including Aag (1948), Barsaat (1949), Awara (1951), Shree 420 (1955), Jaagete Raho (1956), Jis Desh Mein Ganga Bahati. Hai (1960), Sangam (1964), Mera Naam Joker (1970), Bobby (1973) and Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1985).
