Filmmaker and screen writer Priyadarshan rules the hearts of the audience through his best films. He has directed Malayalam and Hindi films and is famous for his comedy films. At the same time, when he directed the comedy film 'Hera-Ferry' in the year 2000, the audience was not only a lot of lots, but was also taken seriously. The film is the official remake of the 1989 Malayalam film Ramji Rao Speaking and 'Hera Pheri' was the first installment of the franchise. The second part of Hera-Ferry was directed by Neeraj Vora, who is credited as the author of the first film of the franchise.

Talking about Priyadarshan's magnificent films, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Neha Dhupia, Rajpal Yadav, Shakti Kapoor, Om Puri and Anupam Kher starrer 'Chup Chup Ke' are also taken. This is a remake of the 1998 Malayalam film 'Punjabi House', in which Dilip was seen in the lead role. The original name of this film was 'Khatta Meetha'.

De Dana Dan

This comedy film featured many other magnificent actors along with Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Katrina Kaif, Paresh Rawal and Sameera Reddy. Its story is a partial conversion of the Hollywood film 'Scridge', but some scenes in the film were taken from Priyadarshan's Malayalam film 'Wettum'.

Ruckus

This comedy film has been quite a remake journey in itself. It is a remake of Priyadarshan's 1984 Malayalam film 'Puchakoru Mukkuthi', which was based on the 1980 Telugu film 'Gopal Rao Gari Ammayi'. Akshaye Khanna, Paresh Rawal, Aftab Shivdasani and Rimi Sen are in the lead roles in the uproar.
