A surprising incident happened there on Sunday, after which the actress's restaurant has been in the news. A car has been stolen from Shilpa Shetty's restaurant Bastian. This BMW car belonged to a person who came to the restaurant with his friends. A luxurious two-seater convertible BMW Z4 worth Rs 80 lakh has been stolen from the parking lot of the car building. As soon as the owner of the car came to know about the theft, he immediately lodged an FIR at Shivaji Park Police Station.
Guest's car stolen from Shilpa Shetty's restaurant
The owner of the car, Bandra-based businessman Ruhan Firoz Khan, 34, reached Bastian around 1 am with his two friends and handed over his car keys to the valet working at the restaurant. After the restaurant closed, Ruhaan asked for his car back from the parking staff, but was shocked to find that the car was missing. CCTV footage later confirmed that unidentified persons had stolen the BMW around 2 am, following which an immediate investigation was launched.
Car worth Rs 80 lakh went missing
Following Ruhaan's complaint, Shivaji Park Police has registered a case against the suspects under Section 303(2) (punishment for theft) of the Indian Judicial Code (BNS) 2023. Ruhan's lawyer Ali Kashif Khan said that the police is examining the CCTV footage to identify the criminals.
