In such a situation, heroines are not able to leave their lifestyle easily, but today we will tell you about an actress who not only left the life of a glamorous diva on her own will, but she also left the world of showbiz and chose a different path. Which is difficult to even think about. This path is none other than the path of religion and spirituality. Leaving glamor completely, this actress became a hermit and turned her back on the film world and settled in the mountains. Now you must be wondering who they are, let us introduce you to them.

Was part of Miss India

Many more famous stars like Zaira Wasim and Sana Khan have turned their focus towards spirituality and decided to leave the entertainment industry for the same. One such personality is Barkha Madan, a former model, beauty queen and actress who gave up her acting career to become a Buddhist monk and is now known as Gyalten Samten. Barkha, a well-known personality in the modeling industry, participated in the Miss India beauty pageant in 1994, where she competed with Sushmita Sen and Aishwarya Rai. Both these beauties were winner and runner up. Barkha was crowned Miss Tourism India and was the third runner-up in the Miss Tourism International pageant in Malaysia.

Started career with this film

She made her Bollywood debut in 1996 with the action film 'Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi', starring Akshay Kumar, Rekha and Raveena Tandon in the lead roles. The film proved to be a big hit, but it took seven years for Barkha to get her next important role in Ram Gopal Varma's film 'Bhoot' in 2003.
