The fire raging in the forest of Los Angeles is slowly moving towards the city and till now many houses have been burnt to ashes. In such a situation, everyone is running away from Los Angeles to save their lives and that of their loved ones. Bollywood star Preity Zinta, who lives in the US with her husband Gene Goodenough, took to social media to update fans about her safety and express her grief over the devastation. Preity reassured her fans that she is “safe as of now” but is deeply affected by the current crisis.

Expressing concern over the massive fire that broke out in Los Angeles, Preity Zinta wrote on Friends and families have either evacuated or been put on high alert, ash is falling like snow from hazy skies, and there is fear and uncertainty with children and grandparents next to us. Thank God we are safe now. My thoughts and prayers are with those displaced and those who have lost everything. A big thank you to everyone who helped save lives and property.

Alana expressed concern over the current situation in Los Angeles through a post. Alana lives with her family in Los Angeles and had gone out with the family for the last few days. During this time, she came to know about the fire, after which she immediately reached her home in Los Angeles, packed her things and left from there.

Alana shared a post on Instagram, in which she wrote- 'After the fire was discovered, we quickly abandoned our ski journey and went to LA amid clouds covered with smoke. We quickly packed our lives into a few suitcases and packed as much as we could into the back of our car and drove away. The thought of leaving after spending my entire life in this house and returning in a heap of dust was heart-wrenching.

Alana further wrote- 'I can't even imagine what people who have already lost their homes must be feeling at this time. We are very close to Fire 2 at this time, but do not have a Level 3 evacuation warning yet. For now, we are safe and I want to thank everyone who contacted us.
