Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna are going to share the screen in the horror comedy Thaama. This was announced on 30 October. However, now reports are coming that the lead actors including Paresh Rawal have started shooting. If media reports are to be believed, the shooting of this film has started. Along with Ayushmann and Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will also be seen in an important role in the film. Munjaya's director Aditya Sarpotdar is directing this film. According to the information, Ayushmann, Rashmika and Paresh Rawal started with the night schedule on 12th December. A set depicting Paresh's character's Delhi home was created by production designers Subrata Chakraborty and Amit Ray at Chitra Studio. All three shot their introduction scenes in this setting. The shooting of the film will continue here till December 23.

The next scenes of the film are to be shot in Delhi. Preparations for this have also started. For this the unit will gather again in Delhi in January. After a month's stay in the capital the unit will move to Ooty in February when Nawazuddin Siddiqui will join them. Aditya has shot extensively in the forests of Ooty, as Nawazuddin's character is shown living in the forest. The actor playing the role of the hero has been given a different look by costume designer Sheetal Sharma. Thaama is based on two backdrops: present day Delhi and the Vijayanagara Empire of the past.

Rashmika Mandanna is going to be seen in important roles along with Ayushmann Khurrana in the film. Along with this, artists like Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal are also going to get a chance to be seen in this film.
