The film 'Himmatwala' was a remake of Sridevi and Jeetendra's 1983 film of the same name. Ajay Devgan starrer, this film was directed by Sajid Khan, but sadly, this film did not do much at the box office and flopped. Actors like Paresh Rawal, Mahesh Manjrekar, Adhyayan Suman, Zarina Wahab, Leena Jumani and Anil Dhawan worked with Ajay Devgan and Tamannaah Bhatia in the film. The Rs 68 crore film 'Himmatwala' had earned only Rs 64 crore in India.
