Hrithik Roshan, who entered the film 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' as a lead actor in the year 2000, is going to complete 25 years in the film industry on January 14. The brilliant story, great songs and the pairing of Hrithik Roshan-Ameesha Patel made this film a blockbuster. This is not all, the film had made a special record, due to which its name was registered in the Guinness Book of World Records in the year 2002. It has been 25 years since the film was released. Now after the stupendous success of the recently re-released 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel's debut film 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' is now all set to be re-released in theatres.

Kaho Na Pyaar Hai is being re-released

PVR Inox announced the re-release of director and writer Rakesh Roshan's 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' on the special occasion of the film's 25th anniversary. Hrithik Roshan achieved stardom with 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' directed by Rakesh Roshan, released in January 2000. There were many stars in this film like Ameesha Patel, Anupam Kher, Farida Jalal, Satish Shah, Mohnish Bahl, Dalip Tahil, Ashish Vidyarthi and Vrajesh Hirji. As the film completes 25 years, it is scheduled to re-release in theaters on Hrithik's birthday, January 10.

Hrithik Roshan's first film won 92 awards

At that time, Rakesh Roshan's son Hrithik Roshan became the only actor to win the Filmfare Award for Best Actor as well as Best Debut for the same film. It was also included in the Guinness World Records in the year 2002. The film was included in the 2002 edition of 'Guinness Book of World Records' for winning the most awards. The film 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' won a total of 92 awards. Due to receiving the highest number of awards, this film was also included in the 'Limca Book of Records' (2003).

Hrithik Roshan is currently busy shooting for his film 'War 2'. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, this is the sixth installment of YRF's espionage world, before which 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War', 'Pathan' and 'Tiger 3' have come. The film also stars Kiara Advani and marks the Bollywood debut of Jr NTR.
