Ever since Rajkumar Periyasamy's Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi-starrer 'Amaran' released in theatres, Vishnuvardhan has been compared to 2021's Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani superhit film 'Shershaah'. The actor is not happy to see people comparing Bollywood and South films on social media. 9 days after the release of the film, Sivakarthikeyan has left people talking about some unique points of his movie. Sivakarthikeyan said that he did not like comparisons between the two films.

The film Amaran is a copy of 'Shershaah'

When asked why both 'Amaran' and 'Shershaah' focus not only on the army life of Major Mukund and Captain Vikram Batra but also on their personal lives with Indhu Rebecca Varghese and Dimple Cheema, Sivakarthikeyan smiled and said yes. And praised the Hindi film, but the choice to compare films is wrong. Speaking to Pinkvilla, Sivakarthikeyan said, 'Shershaah is a very good film, but I don't like comparisons. It (Amaran) has a distinct identity in itself. This is not to prove to anyone that it is better or equal. This is to show what Mukund and Indhu have given to this country. That was the only intention.

Sivakarthikeyan told special thing

South actor Sivakarthikeyan said that despite action scenes, a love story has been shown in the film. We don't need to take it forward from any film. We just want to honor and pay tribute to their sacrifice through the film. In 'Amaran', Sivakarthikeyan plays the role of late Major Mukund while Sai Pallavi plays his wife Sindhu. Produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International, the film is an adaptation of the book series India's Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music of the film.

about amran

The film 'Amaran', which released in theaters on October 31, has earned Rs 187 crore worldwide in 8 days, according to Sacnilk.com. It also left Kamal's 'Indian 2' behind and Vijay starrer 'The Greatest of All Time' (GOAT) and Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyaan' are currently at the third position in this case.
